It certainly is freaky! Here's a pic for reference.

Most of the time when we think of a crested loph, the first case with the single meristem comes to mind.

From the look of it i'd say i wants to be polymorph/ monstrose.

Only time will tell!

Lucky bastard.  I can't wait to see it in a few years especially if you graft it. I bet it grows up to be a beast :)

Same from me.  I've bought thousands of seeds from him and always got more than I ordered :)

It’s unlikely you’ll be able to tell if it’s actually going to crest until it’s a lot older. Crested lw is extremely rare, more often found with fricii. I’ve grown thousands from seed and never had a crest, I’ve got my fingers crossed for you.... Monstrose is cool too, but lophs tend to be very stable, though varis can happen sometimes.

Theres a guy here northern rivers, an incredible collection, so it may be the same guy...

Its still looking weird lol. But unfortunately the due to some horrible hot days it dried the container out a little, think i caught it in the nick of time but it looks like some damage might of occurred

But hopefully its just were the seed capsule was sitting and finally come off and will green up with time..says the hopeful optimistic in me
