Battery powered chainsaw

Recommended Posts

This is one of the best investments i have made, needs no fuel, less pollution, very quiet and can be charged by the sun, no more mixing fuels and cleaning fuel lines and spark plug etc.

All it needs is chainbar oil, a bit of a clean here and there, and it's good to keep the blades nice and sharp.

Will cut through hard woods with no problems as long as the blades are looked after 2000-01-23_22_16_34.thumb.jpg.1c513df301fe10142dd9fae98486e089.jpg

This is what i use for cooking and heating water for a wash 2000-01-23_22_15_49.thumb.jpg.45e9edbf592b8778e5bffb4182b9f9e3.jpg i live somewhat primitive but i like it : )

I bet it is quiet too! Would be weird as all hell to hear a quiet chainsaw lol.

Gotta be extra careful, i reckon it would be easy to forget how dangerous they are without all the noise!

I bought after cyclon Marcia devasted my place, a brand new stiel petrol chain saw, and it's very hard to start.

basicly everytime I have to use it, I put my back out and are in pain of various degrees.

I have worked with saws, that would start with the first pull...

with your saw, starting it would be a breeze! :)

Canola oil will work as a bar oil:wink:

Bit thinner, so use more. Cheaper and more environmentally friendly.
