Torsten Posted January 11, 2005 There is nothing more important to growing plants than to predict the weather for a week or two in advance. Forecasts don't give you much of a picture of what the possibilities are and are simply often wrong (ie they don't provide the probability of the forecasts accuracy). Coastal weather is easy to predict from satellite images, especially in the tropics and subtropics. It's taken me ages to find a service that shows all of the region. As most of our heavy soaking rains come from the tropics north of Oz the satellite images on australian weather sites are useless. here is a pic of the whole region. Today they don't have an image for australia... not sure why not.
