I watched "Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond" on Netflix last week, The film follows Jim Carrey as he remains in character as Andy Kaufman during the production of the 1999 film Man on the Moon.

I really enjoyed watching it and a lot of my previous wonderings at why Jim had gone off the Hollywood script are fairly obvious to see, or at least there to decrypt.

It does seem that an existential crisis has been brewing in him for a very long time.

got to check this out. I loved that film. Maybe its his best film so far.. Definately an important film on the nature of art and individuality.... 

 

...and I think Carey would be amazing as McKenna.

 

even though I am a director's person, I have a place in my heart for artists, even actors that are so passionate and special as Carey in what they do. 

 

plus like likes grindcore, Cannibal Corpse are playing a live gig in a Ace Ventura scene... back then I thought we was just a stupid american (he is canadian) that makes silly faces..
