Inyan Posted August 22, 2017 I have Datura metel (purple outer skirt/yellow inner skirt) x Datura wrightii (lavender) seed production under way right now. Always interested in trade for seed and or pollen from Trichocereus pachanoi. I always pollinate prior to the anthers maturing on the mother plant. I also remove all anthers from the mother plant so I can be 100% sure there is no self-pollination. The only Datura cross I am doing this year is indeed this cross to further ensure that no accidental hybrids other than the one I want will be made.
