migraineur Posted July 19, 2017 Dear Plant Lovers, Does anyone know the best way to grow iboga from seed? I was able to pollinate one of my two indoor iboga plants using a cotton bud (the flowers are tiny) and I have my first and only fruit pod growing. I know iboga is a fussy and sensitive plant so I don't want to mess this up. mr b.caapi Posted August 16, 2017 (edited) Congrats on your first fruit, Ive had no luck so far, they always drop off. Sphagnum moss in a zip log bag is a good method. migraineur Posted September 1, 2017 It's been a while since I've logged in but the fruit is still connected to the plant. It looks about ready I think. The plant that has the fruit on it really needs to be repotted but I won't do that until I have picked the fruit. I'll just have to attempt to grow from seed and learn from any mistakes if I make them. I've successfully made cuttings in the past.
