Introducing myself. Hi Fellow Cultivators

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to start somewhere (as this is a LARGE confusing forum). I'm Spacey and I have Many cacti and other Ethno plants that I'm excited to share with you guys.

I'll post a few pics here just to see if it works if I can get the hang of how things work here :P

Let me know if this works and you guys can see the greenhouse pics I've tried to post. Also if this is the wrong place just let me know and I'll attempt to move it to somewhere where it'll be mor suited. Thanks Guys :)

Howdy Grandma,

Welcome to what I agree is a confusing forum. Especially with weirdos like me around the traps

Enjoy!

The fire's strong in this one, guys.

Welcome aboard spacey, and watch out for all the silver space-foxes.

Thank you guys for the awesome welcome! I'm soo happy to finally be onboard here with all of you amazing cultivators :)

@Halcyon Daze Yes Sir the fire is strong in me and my plants as you'll see :P but so is the dumbass in me too (as you that know of Spacey already know) lol!

Anyways here are a couple of my Favorite 4 ribbers  I'd like to show off!

The first one was a gift from a good friend on another forum but the next 2 are seed grown and growing beautifully. For some reason less ribs interest me more so I specifically pull out and replant the 4 and 5 rib plants I grow to give them a better shot from an earlier age vs the 6, 7, 8 ribbed plants. I really don't know why this is and I wonder if others do the same?

Also are any of you guys working with Lopho a_v species? I planted about 50 seeds last winter and I've ended up with about 8 nicely growing grafts. 1 graft is pupping beautifully another turned Dia (whatever the word for splitting into 2 heads without pupping) but all the others seem to enjoy growing as single heads on Peres (which is strange compared to the massive pupping power of Willies). Here are a couple pics I have loaded. I'll take pics of the others a little later on.

Just wanted to post up a couple other things I've had loaded up. Nothing too special, just a few more babies to add to the mix while I have a little time. I hope you guys enjoy them a little :)

The last pic is definitely a sad looking little seed grown pach but it shows some interesting growth habits compared to the others grown from the same seed. I know it's still young and things may change as it grows more into it's adult stages but as it grows it seems to drop all of it's spines leaving a completely spineless plant so far. It's a Pach X Pach monstrose so I'm really doing all I can to keep this baby growing in a healthy manner. It's already been through some rot but the tip was healthy enough to root although closer to winter I plan to impale graft the tip and see what I can come up with :P
