What's eating my tip?

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

What do you think is eating my Bridgesii? What is an effective way to stop it?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

a bird (looking for a caterpillar) maybe?

in that case the sunglasses tactic would probably stand a good chance.

they look a lot like human bitemarks though

There are usually two culprits for Thia type of bite where I live: cockatoos and possums. It's hard to prevent unless you want to sit and watch them 24 hours a day, or you are willing to keep all your cacti in mesh enclosures.

Yep Possums make sense. We have a heap of ringtail possums around here. Could be cause I moved it closer to the fence where they can reach. Cheers.
