What is this scabbyness and how do I fix it?

Sorry I'm still new to the forum so I'm sure this has been asked before, but I don't exactly know what to even describe this scabbyness on my cacti as. Is there something I need to do? its taken over to a few of them as well now and has me worried as it doesn't look good.

mate, your cacti got problems.

 

Personally I would chuck the one in pic 2 in the trash bin & wave goodbye & would strongly consider the same for the other two cacti

Yeah it doesnt look great.

I think you have an infestation of scale. The damage thats done is done scarring doesnt go away, but a lot of the white stuff in those pictures I think is scale - little varmints eating your cactus. if you gently scratch them with your nail some will come off and youll see what i mean.. but to clean them up brush them with a toothbrush or something.
