DeadStar Posted February 29, 2016 I was just wondering if this seed grown tricho is variegated or is its something i should be worried about. You might not make it out in the picture but it has white and yellow colouring

Conv3rgence Posted February 29, 2016 Ive never really been a fan of variegated plants and haven't had any. This little fella is really starting growing on me though :-) Variegation seems to look much prettier on agaves, aloes and fat leaved succulents. It often takes on a patchy appearance with cacti, particularly columnars, for some reason. Some globulars get cool variegated patterns though, like Astrophytums. I'd definately love to see a variegated tricho where the variegation adhered to some kind of growth pattern.
DeadStar Posted February 29, 2016 (edited) ^^^ i know what you mean about the succulents and globes but its still a bit wishy washy to me. I think this trich just has some sentimental backing goin for it Edited February 29, 2016 by DeadStar
