SayN Posted June 8, 2017 Back in 200x I thought 5-HTP was the ducks nuts. Sadly, it never really lasted and my mood seemed to oscillate: it felt like whatever goes up must come down; a false messiah. So I stopped bothering. Recently though (as recent as a week ago) I purchased some 'time-release' 5-HTP and call it placebo or coincidence but my anxiety has dissipated and my level of concentration improved - virtually overnight.
