Auxin Posted April 22, 2002 Scotch broom is illegal in SE Australia. It is classified as a 'noxious environmental weed'. It kills rare orchids and other flora/fauna. When checking legality you must remember to check the noxious weed list in addition to the drug laws. If it were possible to grow this inside in such a manner that it would be impossible for a seed to escape it MIGHT be legal.
