Help with ID

Question

Hi

I was given this piece of cactus and am trying to identify it,can anyone help me out ?,It gets a little confusing looking at so many pictures on the net

Hey, maybe a dehydrated t. peru, I think its some kind of cereus tho

Thanks,it is not dehydrated,it was removed about 20 minutes before the picture was taken.I just cant find an image online that matches my picture

I think its pilocereus azureus, but im no expert.

Never mind, its shape is the same, but pilocereus has gold yellow spines. Its definately a Cereus because of those ribs. Don't know exactly which one though.

not a tricho, looks like a black spined cereus some other posted couple months ago... handsome!
