Cactus of the month year day thread? Which cactus is really shining for you right now?

Recommended Posts

Beautiful army of scops man, you're really gifted with raising trichos from seed they're all so uniform, congrats!

The plants I got from you last year are powering along, the Oscar x Helen mutant especially has grown a lot I'll post some pics.

This graft is shining for me at the moment, Psycho0 x OP. I don't dislike the Yowie x Scop "Brad" next to it either.

Sorry I wasn't as welcoming as I should have been, my plants being at my parent's house make things complicated and i was at a bad place in my life at the time. Hope the winter wasn't too harsh with your plants. Will definitely post pics tomorrow.

Meangreen everything was fine to me and after darkness the light will come. We all have to deal with duality and I hope we can meet in the future again to talk about and with plants.

They look fantastic mate!

I absolutely love anyone who grows cacti from seed until they give me a reason not to.

With that being said, I also like to grow some specimens on their own roots. Seeing those small guys so many months later makes me so thankful that grafting is as easy as pie and makes those seedlings jump rather than crawl to maturity. Grafting is easy enough that anyone can do it with nothing more than some stock and a razor blade. Now, toss in some parafilm and your grafting success just ramped up to 98.5%.

Wow bardo that's a beast, reaching for the skies!

This Yowie x Psycho0 stands out for me at the moment, best looking one out of the seedlings I grafted from this cross, a good mix of both parents
