Interstate camping trip

Recommended Posts

For a long time I have had discussions with sydney and Melbourne folk about a camp somewhere between the two cities, a location convenient for lots of people to go camping from VIC & NSW Kind of a mix between the fishing trip of old (Rutherglen) and the sub zero camping trip (oberon)

It was thought that a nice warm time of year in a lovely spot.... Any thoughts???

can we be fair and actually make it half way? Us Victorians are pretty cool -we actually drive 9-10 hours to come to camp with you guys so don't make us get angry because you know what happens when you make us angry

That sounds great! Especially if its somewhere in North East Vic like Rutherglen as mentioned above as that's where I grew up :)

A search on google..........the computer says Eden

http://getaway.ninemsn.com.au/fsaustraliansw/southcoast/8554683/a-night-of-eden-between-sydney-and-melbourne

......or Tarcutta 8hr41min either way

....Eden sounds nice, and as I usually weekend in paradise, and live in groovy bliss...Eden wouldnt take too much adjustment.

Old mate incog can finally get that fishing line out and catch a feed.

Around Eden is Ben Boyd national park... beautiful beaches.. I used to overnight at North long beach there whenever I'd head up to Tilba every six months or so. East Boyd and Yambulla state forests are just to the west. Lots of possibility.

Damn I'll miss the freezing cold, wet, leeches and campers trash :.(

Warriors camp deserves a well designed tatt I reckon.

Well designed sounds a bit far fetched.

I'll do the tattoos though if my machine is still hanging around at hillbillys house

My suggestion of Wagga was roughly half way from Sydney and melbourne. Although i would take eden over Wagga any day.

You can get a well designed tattoo to commemorate the warrior tattoo!
