Brendo Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) Yesss! And Minimal Dubstep, Reggae, Dub, etc .. Anything related to soundsystem culture / bass music.. Well, anything but Skrillex really, yuk! If you can afford it hit up Outlook Festival in Croatia, it runs over five days/nights and it'll be one of the most memorable experiences in your life. Never imagined bass so heavy, was definitely a bucket list item. One of my funniest memories was on my second night, one of the stages was rigged up with 'Mungo's Hi-Fi' (Tagged as one of the heaviest soundsystems in the world), and one tune in particular forced a guy to vomit lol... I honestly couldn't believe it. I have no clue how to make the youtube vids appear but links are below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHdou1phMLY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjDQh9jezMk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avyDm2E6EPA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLrW9wqFy94 'If yer chest ain't rattlin it ain't happenin' ;) Edited February 12, 2015 by Brendo
DELETED ACCOUNT Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) I don't listen to d&b as much as I used to these days, but one of the first ever tracks I remember downloading (whoops, Soulseek ;-) was called "Cooper's World" by Squarepusher. It turns out it was mislabelled, but it's a good one nevertheless: Maybe it's more "IDM" than D&B, but I like it. The diorama effect of the video is awesome, too. One of the more recent tracks I remember liking was this one (play it loud): Although I guess this is probably "acid", not d&b either, haha Edited February 12, 2015 by antonsyd
theuserformallyknownasd00d Posted February 13, 2015 So with this mix you won't get your eyes poked out by gun fingers, nor will you want to do that wierd dance move you dnb kids do, but you will get schooled by one of the best djs for drum, bass and hiphip! Enjoy the Vadim show

Yawning Man Posted February 13, 2015 Love myself some DnB!! Black Sun Empire are a group that I love but that's where my knowledge of DnB groups ends. If I'm in need of some DnB i'll go to di.fm and listen to their Dark DnB section. I appreciate all the links to songs as I've been meaning to get my music collection sorted and then expand on it with some fresh sounds.

Gimli Posted February 13, 2015 A total gem; wish it'd get released.. Another good remix. You may know the lyrics from the song originally from a track produced in the mid 90s Lucky last.... Okay, fuck it, I lied, what you gonna do...

goneski Posted February 13, 2015 (edited) Some of my favourite artists at the moment (I'll post some videos when I could be bothered): Homemade Weapons Gremlinz Indigo Mystic State A lot of the stuff on Samurai Records.. I'm a fan of deep, dark stuff. I used to be into the harder stuff at some point like Limewax, Dylan, SPL, Current Value, etc. I still veer toward the darker stuff, but prefer the deeper stuff that isn't so full on. goneski Posted February 13, 2015 (edited) Also highly recommend Akkord (collaboration between the two dnb producers Synkro + Indigo).. I'm veering off drum & bass a little though: Edited February 13, 2015 by goneski
