This clone was named by Sharxx, he got it from the cactus show in Melbourne several years ago. Could be the same clone being passed around under different names? Have you got any pics hebrew?

hehe dont mind me, just a little boy jumping on his mini trampoline, head pops over the fence every now and then you hear :: oi ... oi ... oi ... oi oi .... :: i'll throw some pics over the fence and we can see if it is the same plant :: going back to my mini trampoline now :) love ya man

So you're paying about $70 for the Cereus stock. The scion graft $8 from Bunnings lol

Seems this guy thinks once something is grafted it's value goes thru the roof haha

Here is another nice plant, yet expensive. It is the same guy that was selling a cereus spiralis from Brisbane, no contact number only through gumtree message. This time, still no contact number and from Melbourne. Bit suss! He does say pick up so might be legit

Seems to be some more Facebook funnies bout wether or not this cut is a Sharxx (Dawson's) blue

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Trichocereus-Sharxx-Blue-Dawsons-Bridgesii-/161986585134?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

I received this plant as a tip cut from Sharxx in 2014, labelled as Sharxx blue, which is why it is listed as a Sharxx blue.

Happy to change the listing if someone with some cred who actually has a Sharxx blue lets me know that the plant I have isn't one.

Hey olive, sharxx blue is a Peruvianus so that cut isn't sharxx blue, I got a few different bridgesii cuts from sharxx over the yeats, one he called 'true blue' i think, maybe thats this one, dunno but the name is certainly close enough to be confused. but if unsure just sell as a bridgesii. No one will argue with that.. .

Hmmmm facebook slander huh.. .. glad I ditched that account.

Dunno about my cred ;-) but sharxx blue is like a matacuna tYpe Peru in my opinion

Doesn't look right to me

What doesn't look right?? Definately a Euphorbia caput medusae

Edit. .. I see now they are calling it a cactus, clearly not a cactus ;-)

It's not exactly facebook slander, it was just someone in the FB group putting a link up to the ebay sale saying the plant didn't look like the sharxx blue clone people know of. People are generally extremely well behaved over there and have been in this instance too. (and no, I didn't post anything about it personally as it's not my sale)

Here's a link to an old sale of Sharxx plants by Sharxx himself, the Sharxx blue he lists and pictured in his link is also the peru.

http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=34705

http://s408.photobucket.com/user/sharxx101/media/sharxxbluestump50cm_zpse3fd18a4.jpg.html

Here's one of Interbeing's sales showing a nicer looking cut of the peruvianus I know of as Sharxx blue. (my cut of Sharxx came from Interbeing so looks very similar - Interbeing told me Sharxx Blue comes from Dawsons too)

http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41444&hl=

And Misplant/Zelly's plant.

http://misplant.net/SharxxBlue.html

And the ones pictured on EGs's site.

http://trichocereus.net/sharxx-blue-trichocereus-peruvianus/

I could take a pic of my own plant but there's no point with the links above being available.

Any "cred" I do or don't have I put aside in favour of the cred of the people who created the above links.

It's good to see you back around more again, Olive. Your garden's looking great.

Thanks guys, I changed the listing to Sharxx True Blue, Bridgesii

Looks like another case of mixed up tags, now I gotta find a Peru that may be labeled as true blue.......??, or maybe I don't have a Sharxx (Dawson's) blue Peru, if this is the case I must get one.
