The Spineless Trichocereus Scopulicola Project

Recommended Posts

Here is my Kohres Scopulicola graft; originally I thought it was a crest but turned out double headed. After the graft stalled for a few weeks it blew up and now is starting to look like a terscheckii based on the spines and girth I usually have on pereskiopsis.

I'll keep it growing regardless but hope there is atleast some scopulicola genetics in there.

what an absolutely stunning tricho !

i'll have to give my koehres scop seed bag a re-blast after seeing this..

thanks modern.shaman :worship:

My graft has been through hell but started to show some new growth on the smaller pup. The large body had black rot at the grow tip and has stalled for a few weeks. The new spine color seems similar to Pasacana which I first guessed terscheckii due to mass. Time will tell.

Does anyone in the US have a spineless scop cutting they could sell me or does anyone have lc scop x scop or other "spinesless" scop x seeds? I don't need many seeds just around 20 or so.

Did any of you guys end up sowing and grafting any of the scop seeds that were sold from Sacred Succulents / Germany on Ebay (huachuma verified these were the same seeds)? I'm keen to see how they look!

LC scop x scop

Coming along nicely.

Mysubtleascention warned me that they were from fruit that had gone moldy and i might need to treat them

but so far no mold.
