can't rmember what member gave me this but I've had it a few years

post-1277-0-90929400-1417833880_thumb.jp

and this is the "hulk" had far less time but a monster of a grower.

post-1277-0-27196700-1417834005_thumb.jp

here's both together, big size diff.

hoping I get multiple flowers open on "hulk" so I can cover them all with the others single flower.

Hey moses good to see you around, water dem scops!

When ritter defined scopulicola he said spines were often absent, sometimes 3-4 spines, awl shaped, to 1 mm long.

So the scops with spines enough to feel when you grab it, but usually not puncture flesh, still count as scops.

Ok makes sense thanks.

and for fun, from march '14.

Hey ladies and gents

My best mate has these two scops that are not far from flowering and the only flower I had this year dropped...

Does any one have any scop pollen and or other pollen ready to donate? (SCOP or bridge preferred but will take what I get)..

Of coarse there would be seeds in return and also seeds to the community..

I will also collect pollen for anyone that can use it and happy to post it anywhere!!!

Would love to cross a scop to scop...

I've been trying to get scop pollen off here for years and it's always a no go.

Why I'm stoked my other one is flowering.

And yeah they've all been kinda neglected for a long time got a little tough for a while, the small scop was actualy hidden in long grass/weeds till a week ago when I noticed the flower bud poking through the top, spending a month off over xmas to garden and clean up shit. Though "hulk" often has a bit of a sucked in look even when pampered.

How do you expect this association to grow & get very big if you founded it in a nutshell?

Everyone willing to donate seeds or pollen will get a handcrafted wooden phallus.

will this be a nutshell sized version?

We need to get some pollen from one of the Australia or UK clones and pollinate your spineless one. Like the "belly button scop" x zelly's scop. That would be awesome.

The kohres seeds are noticibly smaller than the SS and german scop seeds. Does seed size in trichs tell us anything about their genetics?

Yes, standard Scop Seed is 1,8 mm long, 1,3 mm wide, 0,8 mm thick and almost kidney-shaped. But that doesn´t mean that Scop from other Locations can´t be bigger or smaller. Just that the originally described Scopulicola had seed with the Measurements mentioned before. When growing Hybrids, seed size can vary greatly. Besides, some Seed is more ripe than Others and because of that, bigger or smaller.

Hey ladies and gents

It looks like the ladies have at best a couple of days to a 2 weeks max..

There are around 20 flowers that look like they are opening... So plenty of pollen!!!

Let me know if you can make some use of it.

Would love to be part of a known Scop cross..
