EBAY HACKED [MASSIVE WARNING]

Im curious if users around the world are unable to login as I have been unable to get in and can't even seem to

reset passwords or anything...

probably be safest not to attempt to log in till the issue is resolved, if it has indeed been hacked they maybe collecting everyones passwords and paypal details.

yeah it did, i had to change my password and crap a few month's back, pretty pitiful considering they are one of the biggest online auction sites

they pissed off alot of hack groups up when paypal stopped accepting donations to various organizations so I would reckon it could be related...

just speculating tho

anyhow its back up now

in perhaps related news but most likely not...

facebook faced a glitch today for a while,

and home depot stores got hit, one claim is that perhaps all 2,200 of their stores through USA got breached

its the one with the big orange square, where one can occasionally find a Terscheckii or a Pringleii

so if anyone in the states bought a cactus at depot with a card recently, BOLO

eBay are claiming it was just a server maintenance issue: http://announcements.ebay.com/2014/09/technical-issue-impacts-some-ebay-customers/

Who knows what really happened though, because last time they were hacked (large-scale), they took ages to admit it!

Good thing the paypal account associated with my ebay account was banned some years back ... probably for some suspicious purchase or other. :bootyshake:
