paradox Posted July 27, 2014 If they'e in pots they should be fine as long as you ensure they have good drainage & you can protect them from long periods of wet in winter & excessive direct sunlight in summer. In the ground will be a different story, they would most likely need to be under cover where you can dictate how much water they get.. if you could somehow design a garden that has extremely good drainage but not so good as to dry out too quickly in summer you may be able to get around this but that probably wouldn't be that easy..
