another unknown trich, any guesses?

Question

I've had this plant for years & didnt know it, actually never seeing it until I recently spotted the flower bud.

I guess I should put it in the ground & see what its capable of doing...anyway, any guesses to its identity?

reminds me a bit of one in france i keep seeing on ebay

labelled Trichocereus litoralis

I'm pretty sure litoralis is a chiliensis sub species

Well she was the 4th trich to flower for me this yr, and oh what a beautiful flower.

Zelly, have you tried to cross it with anything? I imagine a thelegonus hybrid would look amazing!

Mine didn't set fruit. I may have pollinated something else wit thelegonus pollen but I didn't track it.

yes, this flower was successfully crossed with my no spine scopulicola. It was the only pollen i had available at the time...so it had to do.

I find the fruit very interesting in that it has much more 'hairiness' than most other tricho fruits I've seen.
