Sebby76 Posted April 30, 2014 Friend of mine found these in his yard in Canberra today - any idea on what they might be? They certainly look a bit Cubey!
0 Berengar Posted April 30, 2014 Coprinellus or Coprinopsis species. Probably something along the lines of Coprinellus micaceus.

0 Berengar Posted April 30, 2014 They dont look at all like cubes... Well, that's a matter of perspective. To you and me they don't, but to various people hoping they are psychoactive they 'look exactly like' Psilocybe cubensis, Psilocybe semilanceata, Psilocybe mexicana, Panaeolus cinctulus, Gymnopilus junonius, Galerina marginata etc. They seem to be the most versatile mushroom! :D @Sebby76 - Always glad to help!
