Idiospermum australiense

I.australiense in flower. Ancient rainforest tree endemic to the Daintree, note the primitive flowers. Pollinated by beetles. One of my favs!

Yeah I love this one too! Along side Atherospermum, they're my favourite natives.

Hey BB, have never tried to propagate this species through vegetative means, not sure how it would go...Poorly me thinks. Also they don't self pollinate so have never gotten any seed, which is a pity, there magnificent lookin fruits/seeds. Sorry... :(
