@Skellum, it's just kicking off mate. About a month late by my olde timers experience, but I reckon there's a few good weeks yet. Low lying areas near water were looking good last weekend, but up hills with a southerly aspect will also be worth a look.

I have a feeling it's gonna be sub bonanza this year.

I would say that it looks like the wet season is here, so every week that has 50ml + is a week worth looking, particularly with humidity so high as well.

Shit is pretty crazy up here atm. The biggest was a good 14 - 15 cm diameter... Probs one of the biggest I've seen :o

That is absolutely off its fkn head RC - looks like your natural conditions are better than most can recreate artificially. 15cm is insane!

You have made a very Intuitive Choice, moving on to your land, full of your teacher plant, Responsible Choice.

Fruiting in abundance, with so much to teach you.

Surrounded by your sacrament, tuned in together, both bonded in respect.

Much love and respect to you brother.

I feel your vibration.

And I yours bro.

I'm still very thankful to the staunch bloke who set me on this path. He too surrounded himself with sacramental plants, and shared much of his wisdom and experience gleaned from the vegetable realm. He whips up a mean vegie stir fry with Hokkein noodles too!

Much love mate.

Hi Ya everyone. I joined here in 2014, then my world became somewhat more troublesome. I'm still "in the woods" so to speak but have been trawling this gift of a site again. I followed this thread for a bit back when RC started and am thankful I've returned, especially reading the last couple of exchanges here.

I am very keen to learn with sacramental plants, in particular Cubes. Like many on this forum, I have my issues and given the results of studies done in the UK and US, this path really appeals to me. My condition has recently become treatment (toxin) resistant.

I've decided to post in this thread because the characters and personalities, knowledge and love, and humour you express through your writing connected with me. I also love Hokkien noodle vegie stir fry...

I would love to ask questions, but in a respectful way just ask bluntly, because it requires less thought. I'm reticent to have that kind of dialogue in the thread because I'm not sure how much bluntness be deemed appropriate.

Would I be able to PM anyone to ask the questions?

@Insequent I doubt anyone would mind you PM'ing them for advice.  PM me if you like. (beware: gonna be offline for at least a couple of days though)

So this might seem a little off topic until you take a listen. If you've never listened to this before then please do...

Hey Crayz. Thanks very much. I've had a chat to RC, but I've little doubt I'll have more questions.

Peace and Love.

So I mowed the yard about 2 weeks ago when grass was up to a meter in places. Then mowed again Monday Tuesday. Lots of straw like dead grass from the first mow leaving a layer of mulch. I wake up this morning to be greeted with new friends in the yard. I've been here 6 years and have only seen 1 or 2 mushies here. Nothing like this. I didn't know how many pics I could attach, there's more. And I'm sorry for the quality. They look much better on my PC...

I've no idea what personality they are. Just keen to start learning as much as I can. Is this the right place to ask?

Peace and Love, G.

@Insequent Its the fungi kingdom drawing you in my friend. Maybe they are trying to tell you that there IS a healer within the family, keep searching. You'll find your medicine.

At the top of the mycology forum, there is an "Fungus Identification" subforum. This is normally where every forager posts their finds to be ID'd.

Here is the link: http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?/forum/28-fungus-identification/

Good luck amigo.

Thanks for the link man. I love the notion of them reaching out. It is way cool if they're sentient and can sense us.  I reckon they came in with the neighbor's horses grazing for a few weeks about 18 months ago.

I'll post 'em there.

Muchas gracias .

Wet season coming to a close:

- Cubes fucking everywhere, drying out in paddocks atm

- Cyans in the mix but far less this season than the last

- Probs this next week will see them still pinning as the ground dries up again and the temps drop

Enjoy!

I'm willing to call a close to this year's season if no one else has any objections?

Temps are down a fair bit now especially at night/morning and the humidity is pretty low too. Haven't been out so I can't say for sure, but it feels like they're gone. Sort of.
