I had no idea stuff can get this big on grafting stock like this. Not sure why, but I had a 2" bridgsii that stopped growing and was growing aerial roots so I degrafted it recently. I also have a 3-4" Oreocereus that seemed to stop and was growing aerial roots again so I figured that was the max size...

There is no reason to de-graft unless you're short handed on grafting stock. De grafting halts the active growing process while the cutting grows new roots.

When you feel its time to de graft, bury the entire rootstock and a few inches of the scion. The scion will grow new roots while the plant continues growth at the apical meristem

howdy mates, here's a fairly updated list of seeds on hand from this yrs (2015) hybrid seed crop.

Its my intention to open up sales exclusively on sab via PM for at least a week prior to world wide sales thru my site as some hybrids will be in very short supply.

Please hold off on the PM's until I either update this post with item numbers & pricing or in a follow up post.

Now for the bad news, I've 50+ flowers opening in the next 2-4 days on 11 mother plants, & any resulting fruits will take at least another 7 weeks........flowering plants include huarazensis, peru2, juuls, oscar, clyde, validus, huanucoensis, macrogonus, ss02xss01, bridge helen & Lumberjack.

With any luck, I'm hoping some psycho0 pollen i got from nitrogen is still viable & will take on one or two flowers on helen and a few others.
