^ They are pupae of something. They will emerge into the adult stage soon and then maybe a beeter ID can be given :)

wow theyre really pretty

i think those stink beetles are called shield bugs here

and the sucker things look like something from the same family - ladybug pupae, usually a good sign :)

I have these lil fellas on my acacia. They don't seem to be doing any damage

Edit: well they are doing damage! Sucking the very fresh tips. Somewhat beneficial I guess for "tipping" to create bushier growth

Anyone know what these weird things are? seems like there are eggs maybe and then the things that came out of them....

That's the best i could get really. they where defiantly not lady bugs i think as they where way to small... all of that was about the size of a few grains of sand

I just thought they looked interesting anyway I don't really expect someone to ID them haha

I got it this time.... Spined Soldier Bug . Podisus maculiventris , a beneficial insect. :) Also known as a stink bug. The nymphs look quite different to the adults.

The eggs remind me of sea urchins.

I forgot there was a thread like this here.

Any idea what kind of fly this is? Was very large. An inch long body at least.

Cant see the picture but weird looking hatchlings makes me think lacewing larvae ;)

strange weather,,,,so I am out and about watching the sky with the promise of rain. No rain at this stage but the

humidity dropped...was watching juvenile bumble bees dropping outta the sky...lol

they havent been here that long....but hey do kinda fit...and pollinate like demons in cooler weather :wink:
