NZ acacia ID's

Hey guys would like to get these two Acacia species identified thanks. :)

1st species:

Will post more species as I find them.

You dont realise how many Acacia's there are naturalised around Auckland untill they all come into flower.

A. longifolia on the first. possibly still longifolia on the second (maybe too yellow flowers for A. floribunda. pods would tell. Both are from section juliflorae from which most of the active species are from. Though in recent years many have been discovered from other sections.

2nd species A. fimbriata ?

Are there any Acacias native to N.Z. ?

I suspected the 1st species was longifolia. But I doubt the second one is...

There's no native acacia's in New Zealand however several species have become naturalised and are a bit of a pest.

I might aswell keep tagging onto this thread. Went tree climbing at an arboretum and saw this Acacia in bloom.

One of the only trees there without a label :rolleyes: Anyone help me out?
