Anodyne Posted August 10, 2015 Courage little frog, you're doing the right thing. Of all the things you might end up regretting in your life, I doubt this'll be one of them. You might have to live on nettle soup, but at least you won't have to eat shit from morons anymore - sounds like a good trade to me! I'm planning a similar move in the not-too-distant future and my stomach drops just thinking about it. Even though I know it's the only way to live a life where I'm true to myself, it's an unknown and scary as hell. But then I remember that this is the only path to happiness, and maybe you can't see it going that direction sometimes, but as long as you keep moving away from the crap things I figure you must get closer eventually. All jobs are only temporary anyway if you take the long view - the only thing that endures through your whole life is you, and the strength & bravery it takes to leap into the unknown will stay with you.
