Boston Marathon Bombings

Yup how better to bring down a monolithic entity than from within? That way you can be best placed to pick up the pieces as they fall. It's been heading this way since the fall of monarchies and ruling houses.

I prefer our governments to corporations because there are checks and balances, with corporations in control there are none. America has been heading that direction for a long time and the only way it's got there is because the corps work from within, using their wealth to buy positions in power. If government is essentially powerless to regulate but they can still take taxes from the poor they can use the mighty army to secure wealth from overseas whenever they like.

The corporations are in fact the bad guys here

Corporations are more powerful than governments. The military industrial complex and the large banks are even more powerful than the big corporations.

The Saudis' warning to the U.S. government was also shared with the British government. 'It was very specific’ and warned that 'something was going to happen in a major U.S. city,' the Saudi official said during an extensive interview.

It 'did name Tamerlan specifically,' he added. The 'government-to-government' letter, which he said was sent to the Department of Homeland Security at the highest level, did not name Boston or suggest a date for his planned attack.

Saudi Arabia 'warned the United States IN WRITING about Boston Bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2012'

even though it's the daily mail, what the fuck

Chomsky: The Boston Bombings Gave Americans a Taste of the Terrorism the U.S. Inflicts Abroad Every Day

[...] It's rare for privileged Westerners to see, graphically, what many others experience daily - for example, in a remote village in Yemen, the same week as the marathon bombings.

On April 23, Yemeni activist and journalist Farea Al-Muslimi, who had studied at an American high school, testified before a US Senate committee that right after the marathon bombings, a drone strike in his home village in Yemen killed its target.

The strike terrorized the villagers, turning them into enemies of the United States - something that years of jihadi propaganda had failed to accomplish.

His neighbors had admired the US, Al-Muslimi told the committee, but "Now, however, when they think of America, they think of the fear they feel at the drones over their heads. What radicals had previously failed to achieve in my village, one drone strike accomplished in an instant."

Rack up another triumph for President Obama's global assassination program, which creates hatred of the United States and threats to its citizens more rapidly than it kills people who are suspected of posing a possible danger to us someday.

The target of the Yemeni village assassination, which was carried out to induce maximum terror in the population, was well-known and could easily have been apprehended, Al-Muslimi said. This is another familiar feature of the global terror operations...

It's weird seeing all the people cheering and shouting "USA USA" when the police caught the alleged bombers. That's more scary than the thought of two people out of several hundred million being able to make a dodgy bomb. Hell, more people die from legal guns every day in the US! They don't seem to have a great deal of awareness of what's actually going on around them, no wonder overseas is such an alien world to them.

I wonder how different it would be if the majority of Americans and people from the middle east were atheist. American foreign policy and corporate expansion are partly to blame but the underlying and historical issue that's rarely discussed or critiqued is religion and it's influence on people. Allah achbar/one nation under god.
