I think this is called a forest. You left the realm of "some" quite a few cacti ago.

Absolutely love Zelly's hybrid seed. Looks like you are showing two very nice jewels from this collection. Thanks for sharing these solomon.

Felt also in love with zellys crosses and so did many others. Great solomon.

I have a small mate lj x vrg. I am not a good grafter, only a few grafted, and i am always happy when the graftingstock and scion are melting together. Exciting.

It's the forum software not reading orientation tags, if you want to have them displayed the right way up on here you have to rotate and save in some image editing software (i use irfanview) or the likes

And nice crests B)

Hi cactus people :)just wondering if anyone has seen this before? its a T.peru seedling which is expressing a mutation reminiscent of M. geometrizans boobs. Still early days...

20171002_161259.thumb.jpg.63b650d8ee27cefbb1c7b03f682560e2.jpg

Just before this new growth emerged there seems to be an infection of the meristem. The spines came out distorted, bent and subsequently fell out leaving a ring of damaged areoles.

20171002_161252.thumb.jpg.e36d4108d904b8e9a1a27313fdd48394.jpg

looks like there's some deformed ribs halfway down too....any ideas?

One of my bigger ones did a similar thing, but is now growing normal. I changed the spot and i think that stressed the plant.

Did you change something before it happend to you plant?

I moved it into more shade for spring and have been watering weekly. Over winter it just got rain, which was not much.

4 cotyledon ears4.thumb.jpg.5d9addcc161e15e0dee2a38cbb3486bd.jpgseedling was noticed today. Appears to be the only one I've had out of this bunch so to the grafting board. Here is hoping it maintains some freakish qualities.
