0 bogfrog Posted March 8, 2013 When/if i get flowers he will be the stalion of the hareem. I've always been a bit confused about chiloensis too. This plant has much darker spines than my partners T. Chiloensis, which has pure white. Are there two varietes of chiloensis?
0 Optimystic Posted March 8, 2013 from what I understand there are alot of intermediaries in that complex, even in natural populations.. Im not sure where I read that but I think MS said it somewhere.. i've been through all the giant cactus threads lol

0 bogfrog Posted March 8, 2013 Hi EG, I was told this was a basal pup from a large plant taller than a person.. The owner of the nursery apparently kicked it off while wearing jandals.
0 Evil Genius Posted March 8, 2013 Well that would be pretty unheard of for Eriosyce i would think. Will look into it in the next few days. Am a little bit handycapped as i was pretty badly injured by a giant hog that attacked me out of the blue so it´ll take me a few days. Will write about the whole incident then as well. bye Eg
