0 jebus Posted March 3, 2013 Thanks guys, They seemed to turn a strange psychedelic blue when brused, which made me suspect the type but I'm a newbie. All this rain in the Illawarra and then the bits of sun make good weather for mushrooms of all sorts. Cheers again guys J.
0 ghosty Posted March 3, 2013 there are some very toxic mushrooms that bruise blue. some green, some grey-blue etc etc etc. good to ask always i think. one mushroom can kill. safer to pick pan's though when starting out. dispose of them correctly now you have Id them =)

0 mutant Posted March 10, 2013 Hey, can I ask how are you sure these are Pans? From what I see in the gills, this could also be a Psilocybe. In no way can a non-ozzie opinion be more important than an ozzie one, but I am curious, as I remember Pan gills start off pretty dark becoming black. These look a lot like P.serbica or other similar small blueing woodlover Psilos. but ok, farm = grassy area no? A habitat photo would be great too!
0 jebus Posted March 10, 2013 Thanks guys for your help. Mutant mate don't have a habit photo but these were pick in a field where a lot of cows reside, grass crap and such. Cheers guys will update if I ever get out to the farm again J.
