lol..frank. No ladder is for putting the cap on the chimney to keep possums out.

entry is into the left, I have fond memories of this one as a younger lad - Junction Lake Hut

Just another place to hike red, with a great legacy of huts and humpys. Also a good place for climbing , but our grammar is no good done here so none of us have mastered it...lol

Also a good place for caving, but that requires mad punctuation skills.

EDIT - the hut above is no longer with us has been pulled down by the Parks and Wildlife service, the era of pulling down old huts has stopped for now thankfully

If you're in the Sth East Qld area, I help to run a property where we rent out cabins (in the woods) up here in d'aguilar (near woodford) they aren't quite as rustic as some of these but dad did build them with his man hands! uluramaya.com.au

I just checked out your website Laila and have to congratulate your dad for his grand creation, you are truly blessed by your fathers forsight.

I have always had dreams of shipping container homes and I think aquaponics on the walls will help with insulation. But no Plastics! so I came up with hemp fibre cast, for hydroponics because I remember in one of my grade 8 projects on Hemp, that the first ford cars were made from compressed hemp and it is stronger than steel. Maybe big market opening there?

Love the thread, my inspiration is exploding B)
