El Presidente Hillbillios Posted February 20, 2013 i really like how auctions set their own price and i think its fair to let the auction run until the original stated start time. Good luck to all involved!

planthelper Posted February 21, 2013 (edited) Online literature suggests this species is classified as a Difusa, with the flower closely resembling a koehresi just because you are often a pain towards me.... there is no Difusa, only "Lophophora diffusa" second latin name is never written with capitals either... btw, koehresii... Jox Posted February 22, 2013 Hey guys, Online literature suggests this species is classified as a Difusa, with the flower closely resembling a koehresi ^^Does this mean it will be self-sterile? I have tried to find out myself but can find much. Cheers jox
planthelper Posted February 22, 2013 Hey guys, ^^Does this mean it will be self-sterile? I have tried to find out myself but can find much. Cheers jox copy and paste from here: http://www.magicactus.com/description.html None of the Diffusa family directed species are autogamous. All species in the Diffusa family, unlike L.Williamsii are self-sterile (heterogamous)), and unable to receive pollen from L.Williamsii for fertilization, and apparently only able to mix with their own kind. Over the next couple of years I will be experimenting to see if the plant can mix with any of its other varieties or not
Jox Posted February 22, 2013 Thanks PH, I figure if it fits in the diffusa group it is most likely self-sterile but I can't find any thing that says it is one or the other. Cheers jox
