What did you do in your sacred garden today?

Recommended Posts

I made a couple of planter boxes at work on Friday out of an old pallet and put them up yesterday, adding the last of my cuttings this morn

Watered & weeded.

Sketched plans for a new cactus garden bed.

Organized cactus collection into three groups: stock plants, greenhouse plants and those destined for a new garden bed.

Quarrantined a couple mealy bug trichos.

Propagated some trichos by cutting.

Cleared out cactus garden bed of weeds.

Potted up seedlings that had gone MIA, found one with varigation.

Spotted a young B. sanguinea flowering

And with a pod ripening

A lot of B. sanguinea around the place but never seen them produce pods ever.

The plant with the pod ripening on it was sourced from far away so must be a from a different clone/seed.

checked on plants and aquaponic systems, some carniverous plants had dried out a bit due to heat fluctuations .

Walked further back into the forest at dusk, the full moon.

Growled like a were jaguar as I walked the woods, terrorizing deer and bunny rabbits in my path.

Stood on the hill, overlooking the lake as the sunset in colors from blue to indigo across the sky

Took a piss with the wind, marked my territory for all to smell.

Tearfully (and painfully) uprooted a patch of Jurema that had become too big & hostile to exist in the space they were in.

They say envy is one of the seven deadly sins, if that's true then I must die a bit every time I see that garden. :drool2:

That vine looks like it wants to claim the house too. It would look good growing over the trellis near the bar.

. If anyone needs seedlings/yearlings that are rootcompacted in trays email me I'm throwing away 200-300 a month all name brand misplant and SS seed stock. Breaks my heart to throw away all these strains. I am in us but will ship anywhere you pay. And am extremely discrete in my shipping.

M Hostilis can be germed and started in full sun with no problems. Saw post earlier about a guy worried about burning one.

Well, that settles it. I'm moving in with Horus (sorry Horus you have no say). I'm tired of the weather here.

Your welcome to visit Kykeion,

I made a Power garden, to display a Tibetan Skull,

for when he comes and resides over Ceremony up the farm.

And then seeing this is "what did you do, in you sacred garden"

then I did a bit of guitar raga,to help in settle in.

Is that a cave in the background there Horus? You've got an awesome looking set up there, both the property and power garden. If I ever find myself in that part of the word I am definitely taking you up on the offer!

Wow, Kykeion, your garden is honestly as beautiful as Horus garden ! It is very different but beautiful nonetheless ! You should be thankful to have such a nice view...the rest of humanity lives in little boxes ...

Thanks Mauve! I actually really love where I live. As beautiful as the snowy weather is (especially since we actually have snow this year!) I always begin to start missing the green and warm about this time of year though, even more so when browsing pics of places not currently frozen ;).
