Trichocereus id please

Question

Hi

I recently acquired a large cactus with 4 trunks, standing 3.5m tall. Tried my best to move it whole but proved too difficult so I have had to make cuttings.

I think it is a trichocereus but am confused of what type. It looks different to my other trichocereus pachanoi. There are spines on the bottom sections of the plant, with the spines becoming much smaller up the trunk, and being spineless for the new growth. There is a little bit of fur around the areoles at the base of the plant and around the new pup that is just forming.

Here are some photos of the base, including the new pup that is forming:

Here are some photos of upper sections of the plant:

All help appreciated! Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. It looks similar to the one in this thread which people have labelled an NZ Pachanoi:

Yep looks like the NZ pachanoi... different in many ways from the predominant cultivar found in Aus.

It looks a lot like my Trichocereus scopulicola but then mine has the greyish glow but with dark green arrow like patterns and the heads and new shoots are the same dark green and greyish colour while in your photos new growth seems quite brighter in colour. My plant is very thick.
