bridgessi Peru or pachanoi

Recommended Posts

Hi guys has anyone got anything similar to this I'm trying to work out what it is. I'm thinking it either a Peru cross pachanoi or just an unusual pachanoi but that's just a guess. It has an amazing growth rate and a very nice colour to it I actually think I might give it a name when it gets a bit bigger unless it look to similar to another clone

description

spines are 5-7mm long and much thicker than most pachanoi and bridgessi. They also seem sharper as they brake the skin even with a light touch

Its about 7-8cm thick but looks like it will be much thicker. Its hard to the touch (not soft like some pachanoi and bridgessi) very solid. Its dark green with blue in the new growth and gets that motley patches of dark green/black that you sometimes see on older growth

anyways here it is let us know if you've got something similar

Yeah that what I'm leaning towards. I got two other the same size one is blue, not a frosting I mean the skin is blue and with spines as small as a scorp the other that is green, no blue with 8-9mm spines so there can be am amazing amount of variation

I've never seen one quite like that.

It almost looks like it's got a bit of Myrt. in it.

My pictures must be awful it doesn't look much like that either

I'm no expert but if you asked me id be calling that a bridgessi or bridgessi cross

one way I tell is give it a gentle squeeze all my Peru's are hard and firm where as a lot of bridgessi are a bit softer doesn't always work but gives a good indication

I agree with the bridgesii or bridgesii cross.

Looks alot like the short spined bridgesii that originates from Cactus country and has been spread around by PD
