Many major hardware stores have stevia now too. It doesn't like the forst or cold though

^ Yeah, i got a nice specimen from Bunnings. It died back over winter, but has came back beautifully.

what soil mix do they like?

Mine came in well draining soil but kept drying every few days. I left it for a few days in a small pot when I went away and it died so id put it in something that holds moisture they seem to drink a lot
