The main areas effected with rain at this point will be Wide Bay and Sunshine Coast, elsewhere will be lighter At around 10am the low will have continued to move south and be east of Rockhampton and the main rain area will be around Wide Bay, parts of Sunshine Coast but pushing south to Brisbane (Lighter rain elsewhere) 4pm the low will cross the coast around Bundaberg with the bulk of the rain around Wide Bay and Sunshine Coast and moderate falls possible to the Border At 11pm the low will be around Hervey Bay with the bulk rain moving off the coast leaving behind rain periods but much lighter. but Moderate to Heavy falls possible south of Brisbane mainly Gold Coast and Northern rivers area Sunday 4 am Low will be east of the Gold Coast rain clearing to showers but some moderate rain periods possible for Northern NSW Low stationary almost and deepens showers south of Brisbane and the rain around Northern Rivers will push south leaving showers behind 4pm Sunday Low starts to move away quickly leaving possible showers for northern rivers Please note the above is forecast for the current projected low movement if the low change directions deepens more then expected or moves away then the rain may decrease or increase then stated above Below is the estimate amounts of rain forecast data supplied by BOM.GOV.AU Today : 5 -10 mm some areas may exceed this the 10mm will be mainly coastal Saturday: Sunshine Coast 100-150mm may even reach 200mm Please note indications suggest a band of rain which may produce 250mm or more will be just off the coast if this band moves over the coast then flooding will be very possible Brisbane 50-100mm will be lighter the further inland you are Gold Coast 50-100mm will be lighter beyond the hinterland Northern Rivers 50-100mm lighter further in land Bundaberg 50-100mm with 100mm mainly coastal Sunday: Brisbane 5-10mm Gold Coast 10-15mm 15mm more coastal Northern Rivers 15-25 mm Please note depending on the low rain forecasted above may decrease or increase Winds increasing 20-30 km/h may increase to higher depending on the low Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I probably would have gone as it is up in the ranges and knowing big red and his super camping powers had a big tarp and set up a under cover area. next time maybe in a few weeks they have a cabin that sleeps 8 and its 17.50 per night then $ 4 per additional person so any one up for another weekend retreat .
