My poor scops had a pretty tough life before I got her. I think she's showing her appreciation for my efforts :wub:

My Pachanoi was in full bloom only days ago. This is the first one I have had go to flower in a pot. YAY!

When you see buds like that you know the flowers are going to be stunning. From this stage right through to when they open is what is so cool about Trich flowers.

I think mine still have at least few weeks before they start opening.

Middle of the winter here & I'm still getting big pc pachanoi blooms. I'll take a picture if one pops on Christmas or New Years day.

colhawk,.... tell me one thing please....... what is your approx location,.....or what is your yearround climatel like, I am seeing coconut trees in your pics.... and up till now ( I live in a tropical location too) and have yet to get one to flower.... and I have had a trich almost twice as tall as I am but never flowered. Give me some hope maaaaaan!!! ;-)

I think they are cocos palms in his photo and I would also think his climate is sub tropical.

Edit : Actually his climate is probably tropical so take no notice of me :unsure:

Yeh thanks shortly, this year it was self fertile. Which is weird cos i had no fruit last year,

I heard blood and bone promotes flowering and fruiting,so i tried it and it worked nicely alot more flowers and fruit!

I havent tried the fruit before.
