Since this has become the "fruit" thread I'll drop these in here too. :)

All fruits are at least a month old now so shouldn't have many failures.

4 fruits on this one and more flowers to open soon

Anakie (peruvianus) is the mother, the fruits were pollinated with the following plants - Gawler peru - Hahn pach - Norma - Fields pach

Thanks PGC! Yeah, it's in the "ID" subforum. Maybe when I harvest some fruits I'll put pics in there again....

Does anyone in the US have PC Pedro pollen? I should have a few trichocereus hybrids flowering this summer and would like to cross them with PC pedro. Hopefully the 'flying saucer' flowers this year as I really want to see that flower. I'd accept overseas pollen as well but not sure how well handles the trip.

Hey Modern.shaman, a large number of the PCs is actually a clone. That means that it wouldn´t be able to pollinate the flower because of genetic identity. But you never know...there also are seedgrown plants from the same seed batch as the PC.

What? PC is genetically identical to Trichocereus cv. 'Apricot glow'?? Is it still too early in the morning?

Nope, I misread that. Thought he wanted to cross a PC flower with PC pollen and thought the Apricot Glow is a separate cross. My bad.

could all the people who have previously expressed interest in valida seed please contact me again, with your username and "valida" as the topic of the message. I have well and truly over committed myself so I will do my best to sort everyone out.

sorry about this, some people I remember but others I do not.
