modern.shaman Posted March 9, 2016 Does anyone in the US have PC Pedro pollen? I should have a few trichocereus hybrids flowering this summer and would like to cross them with PC pedro. Hopefully the 'flying saucer' flowers this year as I really want to see that flower. I'd accept overseas pollen as well but not sure how well handles the trip. Apricot glow bud
Evil Genius Posted March 10, 2016 Hey Modern.shaman, a large number of the PCs is actually a clone. That means that it wouldn´t be able to pollinate the flower because of genetic identity. But you never know...there also are seedgrown plants from the same seed batch as the PC.
Berengar Posted March 10, 2016 Hey Modern.shaman, a large number of the PCs is actually a clone. That means that it wouldn´t be able to pollinate the flower because of genetic identity. But you never know...there also are seedgrown plants from the same seed batch as the PC. What? PC is genetically identical to Trichocereus cv. 'Apricot glow'?? Is it still too early in the morning? Evil Genius Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) Nope, I misread that. Thought he wanted to cross a PC flower with PC pollen and thought the Apricot Glow is a separate cross. My bad. Edited March 10, 2016 by Evil Genius
