For the last few years I have not been home for Christmas and one of the things I always miss at Christmas is the abundance of cactus flowers...

well my mother sent me this photoshopped version of one of my plants today for Christmas, that she did herself!

Really cool hey.

This is psycho0, a prolific flowerer! She definitely captured its essence!

Merry Christmas all!

at 66 it's a fine effort to intuit everything that these plants are about!

I quite like the gumtree in the background too

Yeah, thats some of my garden, the flowery cactus bit relevant to this thread.

Some of those buggers are 20ft tall now and about 14 years old.

Survived all the wind this year.

Aboricola has an extraordinarily beautiful Flower. You should really do something good with it. That flower Shape with a decent color would be a Killer!

I think these will almost be my last flushes of tricho flowers to open this year. I have a few more yowie ones left to go on another plant but that's it.

These are all coming out of the pup on top of the stump (Yowie)

kk339 pach - euro scop - super pedro (either lance or rob)

clearly super pedro (AKA cordobensis, lance, rob) is more on the scop side, if not a genuine scop strain
