For the numbers I saved them you can see them when you mouse rollover Eg 1 top side 1 underside, thankyou for your input I knew what you meant by counting in order which may have been the more logical way to do it.

Attempt to remedy by writing on paper to avoid confusion on this next one

I think that 7 is a saffron but not sure about the other two.

7 is definitely a lactarius deliciosus.

The clump in the first post...(the numbering isn't working for me) I'd have guessed it to be Gymnopilus, so I'm interested to hear that ZPBG says Gallerina.

1 looks like Clitocybe nuda. Spore print to confirm should be pale salmon.

1- probably Clitocybe nuda

2- ..

3- maybe Armillaria or Gymnopilus? looks too robust for Galerina to me..

4- Lactarius deliciosus

for future I.D's the sporeprint colours would help a lot

1 think you are right on blewit the spore print was pale pink almost light orange- it took so long it had me worried it was white.

3 Wish I knew which one Amarillia or Gym

4 Yes you are right , it did not want to print though see in pic

There's a tip for young players...always spore print on two pieces of paper, put a piece of black or grey paper beside a piece of white paper or foil and line up the three shrooms along the join.

That way any coloured spores will show up. Lactarius' white print is pretty hard to see on white paper.

Why do you want to know whether it's Armillaria vs Gym...I hear you can eat Armillaria mellea but what you've got doesn't really look at all like mellea. Aussie gyms are bitter and not active if you were going that angle.
