myco Posted June 7, 2012 I'd love to know why the hell you would want a trichoderma isolate You could always Just do an unsterile jar haha
Darklight Posted June 7, 2012 (edited) I'd love to know why the hell you would want a trichoderma isolate You could always Just do an unsterile jar haha Oh, helpful of you... FYI I'm germinating some seed under controlled conditions, they're being attacked by a fungus I don't want there. A few Trichoderma spp are antagonistic to other fungus, I'd like to include that in the next batch of seed I put down. That's why I need an isolate instead of a random contaminant which could contain any number of other bacteria or fungus http://www.nutri-tec...cho-shield.html There is some cool info on this site re. other Trichoderma spp useful to agriculture. If all else fails I might have to get a kilo of it ( minimum quantity ) Edited June 7, 2012 by Darklight
Sallubrious Posted June 7, 2012 I've used Nutri-life Platform from the same company that makes the one you've added a link to. It has Trichoderma and mycorrhizae in the same product. http://www.nutri-tec...e-platform.html I used it on Lophs and they really thrived. I got mine from an ebay seller. http://www.ebay.com....=item3a72fc8a60 I still have some in the fridge but it is past it's best before date now. I can send you some if want, but I don't know how viable the culture is.
