ayjay101 Posted April 11, 2012 Wow, this looks too good to pass up. I'm going to try and make it to all 3 different workshops. Just need to work out which particular locations - there'll be a bit of travel and juggling for me to do...
PositiveHAL Posted April 11, 2012 lets get a SAB crew together to infiltrate it and steer it towards the more 'interesting' mushrooms! but seriously some SAB carpooling could be in order
obtuse Posted April 11, 2012 Damn!!!! If i had some spare cash (and time!), id almost fly over for one of these weekends. Fortunately Tassie is having its own fungi festival: http://www.rbg.vic.gov.au/fungimap/tasmanian-fungi-festival-2012 Which should prove to be awesome. 4 days of fungi, Yay! the truffle hunting foray on saturday morning looks awesome, im so there. I find all these thing happening so inspiring. hopefully at some point in the next few years i'll have my act together enough to get somethign happening. At least I'll know to keep my eyes open for you SAB infiltrators Cheers, Ob.
Zen Peddler Posted April 11, 2012 Location is weird - Trentham, Woodend and Mt Macedon are often so badly raided of fungi. Dandenongs would be far better in my opinion.
Amazonian Posted April 12, 2012 Dandenongs would be good (closer for me).

Zen - I live in a small town in the hills named after a popular bird, nestled in between a place named after a jewel and another place named after a jewel in a creek...
