Thank shurman, that explanation of horticulture is far from what i am being taught, What they seem to be saying is how to make the most money, the easiest way in the least amount of time. That horticulture nowadays.

Sometimes i think the teachers wonder about me with the things i call them on.

Wikipedia's is'nt too bad

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horticulture

Like I said think hard about what horticulture is.

I would probly start by defining the question.

Good luck with it.

There are different types of hort courses though yeah?

I've not yet tried it myself but I hear using orgonite in your garden produces miraculous results. Could be lies but I'm going to try it and see if it has any real effect.

Coffea arabica - those berries are fantastic, makes a great hedge or small tree

Camellia sinensis - flowers are naff, but makes a great tree with lovely bark and twisted, gnarliness

Ilex paraguiriensis - bit big but could be coppiced, I reckon.

Galbulimima baccata is a nice tree with a great common name - Ghost Bark

Tasmannia stipitata - I love the new red stems and lush, long leaves.

That's the bastardised form of horticulture, all it is about is visual displays and making money. It's as boring as batshit so if you can make your gardens useful as well as pretty, then you are on a winner. I see ethnobotanicals as including food and other uses, which is why my garden has a large range of edible stuffs and herbs (hence my last list).

is this after the 5 kage summit? i haven't watched any anime since the latest series of fillers started how ever many months ago... i'm up to date with the manga which is a year or so ahead of the anime, let me tell you that it is fucking intense, but i wont give anything away. i tried to wait a few weeks so i have 2 or 3 new mangas to read at once, and then i perform my special GVG jutsu that allows me to cast a genjustu on myself that puts me into an alternate state of consciousness which allows me to appreciate the series in its entirety. IZANAGI!
