Justler Posted March 23, 2012 Hey guys, I arrived in Jenolan area tonight, and tried to sus out the camping area, but couldn't seem to get there. There's quite a few big puddles of water on the road, and I almost got bogged trying to cross one of them (mind you im driving a Lancer). To add to the excitement, there is no reception in the area, and there are quite a few dirt roads/tracks that don't appear in the map. You'd get up from the fire in the night to go take a leak in the bushes and you'd like trip over the things about a dozen times. We played cricket with subs. We were using them as firewood. By the end of the weekend, we were so sick of looking at the bloody things that no body wanted to take any home. It was an awesome weekend guys. Beautiful weather with beautiful people. The forest just wants us to go back again in a coupla weeks. Good company and weather was the main thing. Even though the subs weren't out to play, the mushroom hunting was still quite enjoyable. So many species out and about in that forest. Loved the saffron milk caps!
