Good to meet you mad buggers, sorry I bailed. I felt a bit shit for leaving you guys but I wasn't feeling up to braving that weather, and I'm glad I didn't leave it much longer. The roads were hellish with rain and fog, but there was a hot schnitzel waiting at the end of the journey.

It's okay it is a warriors camp after all, only the bravest of the brave receive the "quickening"

Did you find any subs?

What was wrong with the weather/conditions? Was it too wet, too warm or just too late in the season?

In previous years we had been at the same time and found heaps. People had reported finds at the start of the month so I am just wondering what went wrong?

The staunch and the foolhardy.

But our friendship is so strong we put up with anything to hang out and journey together.

So many other random pickers going to that spot,HA ! not finding anything, its picked clean.

But get off the track and you will find goodness.

Nice Lactarious Risotto, hot shower, warm bed with a naked woman makes a nice contrast to 2 days standing around a smoky fire.

Yep, new spot, warmer time of year, the novelty of subs has worn off for most of us.

So good to see you all, thanks for your generosity guys.

Staunch friends are the best friends.
